Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A group of hand-built pottery artifacts including a spherical jar with painted vertical ribs, a deep bowl with orange and white pigment surrounding the interior, and a gourd-shaped rattle toy that contains rattle balls. Size of largest (jar): 5.4" W x 4.125" H (13.7 cm x 10.5 cm)

  • Each vessel with repairs and restoration; rattle with only repairs. Each with light abrasions and fading to pigment. Rattle still makes noise when jostled.
