Native American, Southwestern United States, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), ca. 900 to 1300 CE. A pottery pitcher created via the coil-and-scrape technique with a spherical body and a thick handle. Remains of black-painted linear motifs are visible along the exterior surfaces and suggest that this vessel was elaborately decorated at one time. Size: 4.5" L x 5" W x 5.375" H (11.4 cm x 12.7 cm x 13.7 cm)
