Description:

Pre-Columbian, Peru, Nazca, ca. 1st to 5th century CE. A hand-built pottery bowl with a rounded base, vertical walls, and a slightly flared lip. The exterior is highly burnished and features a repeating series of foxes painted in their own unique hue ranging from ochre yellow to burgundy red over a cream-colored ground. The minimalist interior is decorated in a rich russet red hue. An amusing example with some flare! Size: 5.15" W x 2.8" H (13.1 cm x 7.1 cm)
