Description:

Native American, Western United States, California/Nevada, Washoe people, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A hand-coiled basketry bowl crafted using a single rod foundation of willow, with willow and redbud splints creating the darker patterning. The single rod technique was commonly employed in baskets made for sale. Size: 6.75" Diameter x 3" H (17.1 cm x 7.6 cm).
