A solid silver processional cross with a poignant rendering of the Crucifixion and hallmarks including assayer's mark "AK 1848" - possibly representing Andrey Kovalskiy who was active between 1827 and 1856, "84" indicating sterling silver, and an image of St. George killing the dragon which was used as Moscow's city hallmark from 1741 until the early 20th century.
