Description:

Northwestern Europe, England, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A lovely brass balance scale with a wooden case. The case drawer slides open to store the scale components. The scale is comprised of a brass rod that comes apart at the center to form two pieces, and the lower half has a threaded bolt on the base.
