Native American, United States, California, Navajo, ca. 1950s CE. A colorful and wearable necklace comprised of hundreds of shell and stone beads with sterling silver terminals. The necklace is comprised of four strands that are twisted together and strung with purple and pink coral. Silvery, faceted seed beads and turquoise stones interspersed along the length add nice color contrasts to the purple. The ends are capped with conical terminals as well as a chain and hook to adjust the size; the conical pieces are stamped with "STERLING." This wearable necklace is a fun addition to brighten up any outfit! Size: 19" L (48.3 cm); average bead size: 0.125" W (0.3 cm)
