Latin America, Mexico, ca. 1950s. An attractive polychrome terracotta vessel of an ample rounded form with a short cylindrical neck and a gently flared rim, all supported upon a flat base. The exterior walls are beautifully decorated with two registers of large open floral blooms with fretted borders between them, all in white and chocolate brown on the tawny orange ground. So lovely. Size: 10.25" W x 8.1" H (26 cm x 20.6 cm)
