Northern Europe, Viking or Norse culture, ca. 8th to 10th century CE. A beautiful necklace composed of three spherical glass beads of a seafoam-green hue. Each bead is decorated with either three or four 'eyes' of varying colors that create an attractive presentation. The necklace is composed of a modern sterling silver chain, and the beads are suspended on a slender sterling silver pin. A stylish and wearable example of ancient art meets modern fashion! Size of pendant: 1.625" L (4.1 cm); size of each bead (all are relatively similar): 0.5" W x 0.4" H (1.3 cm x 1 cm); size (necklace): 21" L (53.3 cm).
