**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, one Ecuadorian, one Mexican, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. The Ecuadorian piece is slip-painted redware with an interesting human face with large ears (or possibly earrings?) extending from one exterior side of the shallow bowl. The Mexican bowl is deep, with an interesting burnished patina. Size of largest: 4-3/4" H x 5" diameter (12 cm x 13 cm).

Provenance: Ex-private Olan collection, California, by family descent, acquired 1960 to 1970.
