Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit and Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A set of matching Nayarit figures seated nude with arms placed atop shins and with slit-form eyes and mouth, the female of hunchback form and the male bearing red pigment. These figure are together with a Colima pottery figure adorned in a skirt while holding a petite object. Size of largest (Nayarit man): 3.4" L x 3.5" W x 4.25" H (8.6 cm x 8.9 cm x 10.8 cm)

Provenance: private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, USA, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000
