Description:

Northern Europe, Viking / Norse culture, ca. 9th to 11th century CE. A lovely set of three cast-bronze finger rings, each with its own unique style as well as lovely layers of green patina. The first ring has a thick band with a thin top section displaying a myriad of impressed spotted designs. The second ring has a thin band and a circular face with an "X" surrounded by a small ring, all in a pointillist design. Last is a ring of thick composition with a series of diagonally-incised lines along the upper perimeter which create a somewhat spiralized appearance. A wearable ensemble of ancient Viking artistry! Size of largest (spiral design): 0.875" W (2.2 cm); US ring sizes: 7.75 (spotted), 7.75 (spiral design), and 8.25 ("X" design).
