Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Chupicuaro, ca. 500 to 100 BCE. A set of 3 hand-built pottery vessels, each of a different size and form. First is a broad tripod bowl with concentric linear motifs; second is a deep bowl with orange and white motifs atop the red ground; and last is a spherical jar with red geometric and linear motifs atop a beige ground. Size of largest: 7.4" W x 2.5" H (18.8 cm x 6.4 cm)

  • Repair and restoration to legs of largest bowl, with resurfacing and overpainting along new material and break lines; remaining 2 vessels are intact. Each with light abrasions and fading to pigment, otherwise in nice condition. Great decorations throughout.
