East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. A set of 3 hand-built pottery blue-on-white bowls decorated with blue pigment and sealed with clear glazing. Each bowl is finely embellished with attractive cobalt blue flowers, vines, and petals, and one bowl even has additional petal encircling the interior of the basin. Size of largest: 5.875" W x 2.625" H (14.9 cm x 6.7 cm)

Provenance: private Arlington, Texas, USA collection, acquired mid to late-1960s
