Pre-Columbian, Central Coast Peru, Chancay culture, ca. 1000 to 1450 CE. A fabulous trio of pottery figures from Chancay culture, all adorned with black and white slip: one with a biconical hat standing with hands on hips, another seated with a biconical headdress, and the third with a rounded cap standing with hands on his chest. The standing figure with a biconical hat also doubles as a rattle. Size: 1.8" L x 3.2" W x 5.7" H (4.6 cm x 8.1 cm x 14.5 cm)

Provenance: private Manhattan Beach, California, USA collection, acquired prior to 2004
