Southeast Asia, Thailand, Haripunjaya (also Haripunchai), ca. 13th century CE. A fascinating pottery vessel presenting a shallow bowl and flared rim with a projecting tube at the center, all sitting upon a cylindrical leg and tiered foot. The interior of the bowl is incised with several rings, while the exterior, leg, and foot are all adorned with dozens of raised and incised horizontal bands, as well as undulating strips of clay that add a lovely texture to the piece. Size: 8.25" in diameter x 9" H (21 cm x 22.9 cm)

This piece has been tested using thermoluminescence (TL) analysis and has been found to be ancient and of the period stated. A full report is available for purchase. Please inquire.
