Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Tairona, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. A gorgeous necklace comprised of 20 hand-carved rock crystal beads and 20 vermilion-hued carnelian spacer beads. The cylindrical rock crystal pendant has tapered ends and elegantly hangs in the center of the composition. Strung in modern times and capped with a modern silver French hook and loop combo, this is an elegant and ready-to-wear necklace meant to complement any outfit. Size (necklace): 20.75" L (52.7 cm); size of largest bead (pendant): 1.55" L x 0.5" W (3.9 cm x 1.3 cm).
