Ancient Near East, Syro-Hittite culture, ca. late 2nd to early 1st millennium BCE. A cast hollow bronze head with a rectangular internal recess, presumably for attaching it to something larger. The face is finely carved with details of thick fur along the jawline. He has wrinkled nostrils and eyebrows and thick, delineated veins on his face; recessed eyes; and whorls of fur between the horns. Comes with custom stand. Size: 3.9" L x 2" W x 3.1" H (9.9 cm x 5.1 cm x 7.9 cm)
