Description:

Central Europe, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria, Hallstatt Culture, ca. 8th to 6th centuries BCE. A large cast bronze arm band with an incredible blue-green patina. The exterior has elegant and simple geometric incised line decoration over much of its surface, while the inside is smooth and would feel cool against the skin. This was made to be worn by a high status woman, probably with leg bands, rings, and other jewelry. Size: 3.8" Diameter x 0.5" W (9.7 cm x 1.3 cm)

This item has been tested using XRF technology and is guaranteed to be bronze and of the period.
