Description:

Ancient Seas, North America, Eastern United States, South Carolina, Paleocene to end of Pliocene eras, ca. 66 to 2.6 million years ago. A beautiful bracelet made from sterling silver and fossilized shark teeth! The 9 teeth are set in open-backed bezels that are connected by rings, each with a nice root and lustrous enamel. A toggle clasp on 1 end and a series of ringlets on the opposite end enables this bracelet to be worn and allows for adjustable sizing. The slightly curved profile of the teeth suggests a species of prehistoric Carcharocles angustidens (relative to Megalodon) or Mako sharks. Size: 8" L x 0.75" W (20.3 cm x 1.9 cm); sterling silver quality: 92.5% or higher; 20.7 grams.
