A beautiful cast-bronze head of Buddha with round, slit-form eyes beneath heavy brows, a wide nose, thin lips, and finely-contoured cheeks above a smooth neckline. Slender ears with drooping lobes flank either side of the serene visage, and nodules of hair surround the base of a conical flaming ushnisha. Layers of matte green and brown patina coat this elegant example of Thai bronze artistry! Custom wooden display stand included. Size: 1.75" W x 3.5" H (4.4 cm x 8.9 cm); 7.2" H (18.3 cm) on included custom stand.

  • Condition: This is a fragment of a larger figure. Minor nicks to neck line, face, and top of head, with softening to some finer details, and light encrustations, otherwise intact and very good. Nice earthen deposits and great green and brown patina throughout. Drilled beneath neck for suspension.
