Egypt, Roman period, ca. 30 BCE to 641 CE. A wonderful, mold-made pottery amphora featuring a pointed base that expands to a broad, rounded shoulder, a conical neck, and a flared rim. The long neck is lined with several horizontal ribs and flanked by a pair of vertical, arched handles. Size: 1.4" Diameter x 4" H (3.6 cm x 10.2 cm)
