Description:

Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A delightful clay statuette of a young boy, garbed in a characteristic chiton, with one arm hanging at his side and the other grasping the neck of a duck. He has short and straight legs, a slightly arched back, puffy cheeks, a petite nose, and well-maintained hair. His piercing gaze gives off an air of authority, and standing upon a circular base only adds to the regality of his appearance. Size: 1" L x 1.5" W x 4.625" H (2.5 cm x 3.8 cm x 11.7 cm).
