Description:

Roman, early Imperial Period, ca. 1st to early 2nd century CE. A lovely cup formed from nearly transparent glass of a yellow-green hue. The body rests on a concave base with ten pattern-molded ribs and has tall walls, a corseted lip, and a deep basin. Faint areas of silvery iridescence have formed across the composition and give this vessel an elegant presentation. Lucite display stand for photography purposes only. Size: 3.2" W x 3.1" H (8.1 cm x 7.9 cm).
