Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 3rd to 4th century CE. A lovely, semi-translucent, mold-made jar or flask of pale green glass with a near spherical body on a dimpled base, and a flaring neck that is beautifully decorated with fine trails of turquoise glass wound around it. The upper thick ring of glass was formed by overlapping several lengths of glass trail in the same area. The spherical body is lightly ribbed. Size: 2.55" W x 4.7" H (6.5 cm x 11.9 cm)
