**Previously listed at 125**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A delicate piece of blown glass with a translucent body and pale iridescence. The shape is a squat, round bowl with a long, narrow spout terminating in a gently rolled, small rim. This design was made to minimize the evaporation of precious liquids like perfumes or oils. After the invention of blown glass in the first century CE, glass became easy to mass produce as well as cheaper, and so glass items entered everyday Roman life for the majority of households. Size: 1.75" W x 4.25" H (4.4 cm x 10.8 cm)
