Description:

Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A round-bodied vessel standing on three spindly legs ending in zoomorphic, hoof-like feet. A very narrow spout rises from the shoulder, while a wide, flared mouth is at the top of the vessel. A thin, applied handle with a leaf-shaped base is attached at the edge of the rim and the center of the body. Concentric rings are incised around the shoulder and neck. Probably made for domestic use. Size: 4.4" W x 4.8" H (11.2 cm x 12.2 cm)
