Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A fascinating and rare pottery vessel featuring a rectangular cuboid form with an ovoid spout that rises from one side. Relief decoration resembling straps or bands wraps around the face and verso, while an incised striation encircles the periphery. An intriguing find and special example of Colima redware pottery! Size: 5.6" L x 7.1" W x 2.8" H (14.2 cm x 18 cm x 7.1 cm)
