Description:

Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Middle Cauca region, Quimbaya culture, Middle Cauca Complex, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. A hollow-built pottery nude figure seated with crossed legs and neatly-laid arms. The upright figure bears linear, stippled, and geometric motifs in vibrant cream and black pigment across the orange-red pottery, and the meditative face tilts slightly upwards with closed eyes. Size: 4.25" W x 6.875" H (10.8 cm x 17.5 cm)
