Description:

Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima culture, ca. 300 BCE - 300 CE. Exceptional large figure of a male created by Colima artisan. Fine orange-brown glaze; smoothly polished. His proud and aggressive stance is that of a warrior / fighter which makes more sense when one detects that his right eye is not as vivid - perhaps missing (Battle Wound). 11"H x 5-1/2"W. Custom stand.
