Description:

North America, Mexico, Chiapas, Oligocene to Miocene, ca. 22 to 26 million years ago. A lovely bracelet comprised of thirteen amber beads, rounded and drilled through the center for suspension. The beads are strung on a modern elastic thread that stretches to fit a variety of wrist sizes. The amber is a yellow orange color with dark brown inclusions within each sphere. Amber is formed from the resin of trees that has fossilized to a lightweight yet solid form. The beads are polished to a pleasantly smooth surface and are nearly translucent, a beautiful trait of Chiapas amber! Size bracelet: 3" W (7.6 cm); singular bead: .5" W (1.3 cm)
