Native American, Southwestern United States, Colorado or New Mexico, Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi), Mesa Verde type, ca. 1200 to 1350 CE. A delightful pottery bowl adorned with black-on-white decoration. Hemispherical in form, the vessel presents a slanted grid pattern embellishing its interior walls, which is contrasted by the plain white central tondo. Characteristic rim ticking further decorates the top periphery. Size: 6.3" Diameter x 2.9" H (16 cm x 7.4 cm)

  • Condition: Professionally repaired with 2 stable hairline fissures extending from rim and a few minor chips near rim. Some modern adhesive to fissure on base and light surface wear as shown. Otherwise, very nice presentation with great remaining pigments.
