Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), Four-Mile type, ca. 1325 to 1400 CE. A beautiful pottery jar featuring a spherical body with a corseted neck and a gently flared rim. Boasting black and white on red decoration, the exterior of the vessel features a mesmerizing series of horizontal bands with parallel and nested steppe motifs, while the interior is left bare. Size: 6.25" Diameter x 5.25" H (15.9 cm x 13.3 cm)
