Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima / Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE; Mexico, Guerrero region, Mezcala, ca. 500 to 100 BCE; Costa Rica, Guanacaste/Nicoya region, ca. 200 to 600 CE; East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A group of 5 miniature stone and pottery figures and animals from various cultures. A Chinese stone rat pendant with a piercing between the paws, a Mesoamerican pottery lizard pendant, and a 3 stone figures. The figure on the stand is a miniature Mezcala greenstone pendant, the next is a miniature Costa Rican avian axe god and the lower section is celt form. The crouching figure with hands on knees is perhaps a naturalistically carved Mezcala or later Mexican piece. Size of Mezcala figure: 2.25" L x 0.8" W (5.7 cm x 2 cm); 2.5" H (6.4 cm) on included custom stand.

Provenance: ex-collection of the late Peter Arnovick, San Francisco, California, USA, acquired before 1995
