Papua New Guinea, 20th century. Spirit figure from the Ramu River area, most likely Misingi Village carved from light hard wood with opposed hooks above and below the face. Completing the trio, a pair of carved wooden ancestral figures, one male and one female. From left, figures measure 13-3/4"H, 25"H and 17-12"H. Provenance: Ex-Private collection, Denver, CO.
