This is a large woven mask with faded blue, white, and red pigment that was made to be used in festivals surrounding the yam, the crucial crop of the Abelam people who live in the Maprik district. The mask has the distinctive round eyes, ears, and nose of this culture. Size: 9.5" W x 15" H (24.1 cm x 38.1 cm)
