Pre-Columbian, Panama, Coclé, Cubitá style, ca. 500 to 600 CE. Fired clay olla decorated with red and black paint. Its decoration is provincial, with swirling, geometric designs and a zoomorphic element. There are bands of color around the neck and lip. Size: 8"L x 8"W x 10"H. Provenance: Ex-Rousseau collection.   • Condition: The jar has some signs of wear, particularly around the base, but the decorations are very clear. There is very minor chipping around the lip but no signs of any cracking or repairs.
