Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, Chinesco type, Protoclassic Period, ca. 100 BCE to 250 CE. A hand-built pottery female figure standing atop petite, arched feet while wearing a vertically-striped dress. Large breasts and several painted necklaces are displayed along her nude upper body while white pigment covers most of her protruding visage; only her ears, septum ring, and headband are unpainted. Size: 4.25" W x 7.7" H (10.8 cm x 19.6 cm)
