Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Moche, ca. 400 to 600 CE. A mold-formed pottery vessel depicting a seated figure with arms held tightly against the chest. The red and cream composition features fine decorations and stylized physiognomy, and atop the hunched back is a stirrup-shaped handle and a cylindrical spout. Size: 5" W x 6.7" H (12.7 cm x 17 cm)
