Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A lovely, petite glass vessel with a ribbed body and a tubular neck with an applied trail ring. The body is slightly globular with vertical ribs that run from the base to neck. The glass is gorgeous light green and amber color that contrasts nicely with the teal ring. The surface of the glass has developed a gorgeous rainbow iridescence over the ages. A finely executed piece of ancient glassware that is quite charming in its size! Size: 0.875" W x 1.8" H (2.2 cm x 4.6 cm)

  • Condition: Repair to small area of base, with resurfacing and light adhesive residue along break lines. Minor weathering film, light micro-bubbling within glass matrix, and scattered encrustations. Great rainbow iridescence throughout.
