Description:

Ancient Greece, Cyprus, Late Cypriot III, ca. 1200 to 1050 BCE. An attractive hand-built pottery oinochoe of a miniature form. The vessel exhibits an ovoid body with a vertical bifurcation cleft, a cylindrical neck, a funnel mouth, and a petite handle arching from neck to shoulder. The oinochoe is covered in concentric black-and-red rings atop a pale orange ground that imbues it with a personalized presentation characteristic of Cypriot artistry. Size: 2.625" W x 3.2" H (6.7 cm x 8.1 cm).
