Pre-Columbian, southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A fine necklace of a wearable form constructed from dozens of petite stone beads of dark gray and salmon hues with two white spacer beads resting in the middle of the pink stone sections. A tubular pendant carved from mottled sage green stone with dark green and faint beige inclusions is displayed in the middle of the composition, and three thin stone slivers cap either end of the pendant. An attractive accessory made to showcase on any occasion! Size (necklace): 25.875" L (65.7 cm); (greenstone pendant): 1.7" L x 0.875" W (4.3 cm x 2.2 cm)
