Pre-Columbian, Mayan Territories, Maya, Classic to Late Classic period, ca. 250 to 900 CE. A collection of beads, earrings, nose ornaments, and small pierced carvings made from a variety of interesting materials. Some highlights include a painted shell carving of a crouched jaguar, three coiled shell pendants, a greenstone abstract figural bead, and two large, flower-shaped bone beads. Size: 2.5" L x 0.8" W x 1.85" H (6.4 cm x 2 cm x 4.7 cm)

Provenance: Ex-private Harvey Collection, acquired prior to 1972
