Description:

Pre-Columbian, El Salvador, Maya, Copador, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A hand-built, burnished pottery bowl with a round but stable base and steep walls terminating in a smooth, curved rim. The interior is painted a warm orange, capped by the traditional earthy red rim of Copador vessels. The exterior is decorated with a repeated pattern of stippled diamonds and polka dotted panels delineated by thin red horizontal bands. Size: 6.95" W x 4.95" H (17.7 cm x 12.6 cm)
