Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya / Toltec culture, Post-Classic Period, ca. 900 to 1200 CE. A hand-built plumbate ware jar with a sonorous rattle ball contained within each hollow foot. The tall vessel is covered in gray-brown glaze that has developed silvery iridescence in scattered areas. Size: 5.2" W x 8" H (13.2 cm x 20.3 cm)
