A stunning pottery bowl meticulously hand-painted with rich iconography of the ancient Maya in vibrant hues of red, orange, and black. Sitting upon an annular base, the flaring walls feature 3 intricate, glyph designs on the interior, all surrounding a knot-like motif in the central basin. Alternatively, the exterior boasts a horizontal band of 4 seated figures, representing either tribal chiefs or the Maya Hero Twins of the Popol Vuh. Size: 8.25" Diameter x 3.1" H (21 cm x 7.9 cm)
