Obverse: diademed head of Artemis right with quiver over shoulder in the center of a Macedonian shield; shield decorated with seven eight-pointed stars within double crescents. Reverse: club of Herakles; all within oak wreath, thunderbolt to left. Size: 1.25" W (3.2 cm); 16.6 grams

Artemis (Diana), goddess of the hunt, was one of the most widely venerated Classical deities, and is often depicted as she is here as a beautiful, athletic woman with a quiver and arrows slung over her shoulder.
