A very unusual bronze half bracelet adorned with four abstract faces comprised of round eyes, straight brows or bangs that converge with protruding noses, and sinuous mustaches. A nice heavy gauge bronze with an attractive anthropomorphic design program. Perforations at ends for suspension or attachment. Brilliant deep green and brown patina! A fine example from the esteemed collection of the late John Piscopo, a knowledgeable connoisseur of ancient weaponry from all across the globe. Size: 4.25" x 1.25" (10.8 x 3.2 cm) with 2-7/8” (7.3 cm) wide opening.

Provenance: Ex-Estate of John Piscopo. Mr. Piscopo was one of the largest collectors of ancient weapons in the US with a collection that spanned all cultures, all ages.
