Pre-Columbian, Guerrero Region, Mexico, Mezcala, ca. 500 to 200 BCE. A wonderful ensemble of carved and string-cut amulets including a hand-polished greenstone avian pendant with nicely delineated wings, tail and visage; two anthropomorphic celts, one from a mottled greenstone, the other from a white quartz, and a feathered wing carved from a deep grey stone, probably andesite. Quite a sweet group, all perforated for suspension. Comes in a glass-fronted wood display box. Size: bird measures 1.875" L x 1.125" W (4.8 cm x 2.9 cm)
