East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, later period, ca. 19th century CE. Three beautiful glass snuff bottles. Two are clear glass over a painted scene on the interior - one a group of fashionable young people in nature, the other a bustling bridge spanning a river plied by an equally bustling ferry. The third is a red overlay white glass. All three have hemispherical opaque glass lids. Size of largest: 2.95" W x 3" H (7.5 cm x 7.6 cm)

Provenance: private Colorado, USA collection acquired through descent in 2019; ex-private Texas, USA collection, acquired in Asia in the 1990s
